Help Needed: 3 /12 packs of root beer and 2 of orange canned pop are needed for St. John’s part in the welcome back reception for NDSCS college students. Another 100 plastic or foam plates are also needed. Finally if you are available Monday, August 25th at 5:00 pm several smiling faces willing to serve pizza are needed. Thank you for helping us reach out to these new college students. Please call Michelle if you can help.
The High School Pay it Forward trip is being planned for October 22nd through 26th. Last year, there were 18 students that went on the trip and we are hoping that we have a lot more that are willing to go on this service trip. Cost for the trip is $265 which includes two meals a day, lodging and transportation. Registration will begin in mid-August with $100 deposit due at that time. The bus will be filled on a first come first serve basis, so it is important to let Tammy know if you are planning on attending. The trip is open to students entering grades 9-12. Student News: Each week we will be putting "student news" in the bulletin which will recognize our youth for achievements they have made. If you are aware of youth accomplishments, please contact the parish office.
