52nd Annual Pilgrimage to the

Shrine of Our Lady of the Prairies.
August 17, 2008 ~ Carmel of Mary Monastery.
           
Schedule: 
            * 2:30 Spiritual talk - Msgr. Laliberte
            * 3:30 Rosary
            * 5:00 Mass - Bishop Samuel Aquila will be the main celebrant
            * Confession heard before Mass
Pilgrims may bring prayer petitions to be given to the Carmelite nuns. Also, pilgrims are encouraged to bring a basket with the fruits of their harvest (from gardens or farms) to be blessed. The day ends with a picnic provided by Knights of Columbus Council # 2205 (Council 2205 includes Wahpeton, Fairmount, Mooreton, Mantador, Hankinson, Breckenridge and Kent.) A free-will offering will be accepted. The host parish this year is St. Mary's, Breckenridge. So pack up the family, your friends and neighbors. Come be spiritually rejuvenated and enjoy the peacefulness of the country. Make the pilgrimage to the Our Lady of the Prairies Shrine.
